Let me tell you a quick story about when I was fighting to build my name at Rutgers.
I was struggling with my confidence on the field and my discipline off it.
And I was getting more and more concerned with whether or not football was for me.
You see, at the time I was trying to earn some playing time as a walk-on freshman.
Then the bottom fell out from under me when when I walked into the gym one day and the strength coach kicked me out of the "All Big East" facility.
Which meant I couldn't work out with the team and the older players I wanted to learn from.
As you can imagine, I was in bad shape and desperate, but I wasn't ready to give up on my dream of being able to improve your ability to crush goals.
The problem I had was I didn't have the METHODS. I had all the desire to operate at the potential I knew I could, but willpower can only get you so far. I needed a framework, a system—a methodology.
